Problem:
I have the apartment house and as a way of being nice to other players, the bottom 3 floors are open to all players, there's a pet room, a tea shop, a parkour room, all that cool stuff, but I have rooms which aren't open to just any player, the top 2 floors and some rooms on lower floors, I have a sign saying as you enter the house that all areas are open except any doors that are closed, and I'll be playing and I'll return to my house, and I'll find people have been disrespecting my boundary and I'll find that all the doors I closed are open and the top floor which is my friend's only area has been tampered with. It makes me quite upset because I like giving back to the community by having nice areas open for anyone, but nobody respects me.
Possible Solution:
I know you can lock the main door of your house, but what if you could lock the inside doors to certain rooms? Like if I clicked on the door in build mode or something maybe you guys could add an option to lock the door so nobody can enter, but a bit like the add builders feature on the work bench, you could whitelist and blacklist certain people? Or make it friends only, you only etc.
Conclusion
I love adopt me and I'm thankful for everything the adopt me devs and staff do for the community, and I really hope you can take my idea into consideration.
Many thanks, Eli
