Can I trust third-party value sites?

We do not endorse other value sites. While these are useful tools for the community, we cannot guarantee their legitimacy, and they could be falsifying values in their favor. They do not have inside knowledge that contributes to the true value of an item, such as how frequently an item is traded, or its scarcity, and so may not be reliable.

We recommend trading an item only if it brings you joy rather than following meaningless numbers that tell you a value that cannot be for certain, as there is no publicly available data for each item.

There have been incidents where the values of an item have been artificially inflated by value sites to trick players into trading away what would be considered "high-tier" pets for less rare items. Therefore, players made what they felt were legitimate trades, to then later find they were scammed.

Unfortunately, if this occurs, Adopt Me Support can not return trades as both parties consented to the trade and were happy with their items. As such, our involvement would be unfair to the other side if they were not intentionally scamming but following a value site.
