If your friend still needs a Roblox account, they can create one by signing up here. Once they're all signed in, you will need to add them as a friend, and then you can play together. This article will explore how you can invite or join your friends.
Inviting Friends
In-Experience Roblox Settings
While in Adopt Me, head to the top left corner of your screen where the Roblox Icon is. Open the Roblox Menu, and you will be greeted with a " People " page. This shows a list of everyone currently on your server. At the top of this page, you can invite more people to your server using the "Invite Friends" button.
Search for your friends, and press Invite to send them a link to the game through Roblox. If your friends only sometimes check their Roblox messages, where the invite would be found, you can instead share the invite link, which will copy a link to the server for you to send anywhere.
Roblox Mobile App
Open Adopt Me! on the Roblox App and press the three dots in the bottom left-hand corner. This will give you a menu with the option to "Invite Friends."
Selecting that will bring up a list of your friends. Press the "Invite" button next to your friend's icon to notify them that you're inviting them to the experience.
Joining Friends
Joining Through Servers
Click on the Adopt Me Game and head to the "Servers" tab.
Scroll down until you reach a section called "Servers My Friends Are In". This will show you which servers to join where your friends are present. Press "Join Server", and you'll automatically be placed in their experience.
Joining Through Experience
Clicking on the "Friends" tab on the left-hand side of your screen will pull up a list of your Roblox friends. You can join your friends through this menu.
Note: Usernames of friends have been hidden to respect these users' privacy. Unhidden names are Uplift Games Staff accounts.
When this list is brought up, you'll see you have four different statuses for your friends, which are:
Follow - This means you are not on their server; pressing this will allow you to join it.
Teleport - This means you are in their server, and pressing this will teleport you to them.
Online - This means your friend is online in Roblox, but not playing Adopt Me.
Offline - This means your friend is not playing Roblox.
Joining Through Profiles
If you can see that your friend is online on Roblox, you can head to their profile and press the green "Join" button on the right-hand side to enter their server. Depending on their privacy settings, not all of your friends will have this option available.
