Why can't we use racetrack furniture inside other houses?

I cannot use any of the racetrack furniture inside any house besides the sandbox, racetrack, and mountain. I understand why for the track, but why not the booster pads? I wanted to put one inside my mermaid mansion, because it looked good to use as an arrow pointing into a room, which was inspired by someone's build who somehow got the booster pad into a hollywood house. I wasted a lot of bucks trying to get it inside :')

Can this be added? Or can we get an arrow decoration that looks similar?
