I believe what they're referring to is StarPets. It's a site where people buy adopt me pets for irl money. So cross-trading. They are most likely trying to sell a pet they just bought off the site.
When they buy something, they join a bot that gives them the pet.
When they wanna sell something, they give the pet to the bot for people to buy.
